How is my financial contribution used?

Lighthouse Radio Network has certain practical requirements in order to minister to our communities. So funding is needed for salaries, electricity, new equipment, and maintenance of existing equipment, phone lines, and Internet streaming, studio equipment, new services, towers, transmitters, translators, antennas and music licensing.

How can I help?

WHCF and Solution FM rely on listener/community support at a variety of levels. Here are some suggested giving levels:

Full Day Partner – $1500 or $125 per month
Half Day Partner – $750 or $62.50 per month
Dollar-a-Day – $360 or $30 per month
Legacy Partner – Your Monthly Electronic gift of any amount. It is an ongoing monthly withdrawal from your bank account (eCheck), Debit or Credit Card.

Is my contribution Tax Deductible?

Yes! You will receive a year end receipt for your records.

What is the difference between a pledge and a gift?

A gift is immediate (cash, credit card, check). A pledge is a faith promise; an agreement between you and the Lord that, as He provides, you will fulfill your commitment to financially support this radio ministry.

If I make a pledge commitment, do you send me a confirmation?

Yes.

If I become a Legacy Partner (monthly electric gift), do you send me a confirmation?

Yes.

If I make a gift, do you send me a confirmation?

We will send you a thank you gift receipt for your giving.

Do people really “come to Jesus” because of the radio ministry?

Yes! The Lord can choose any means He wishes to change a person’s heart. Often, He has used the radio ministries of WHCF and Solution FM to bring people into the saving grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Studies have shown that as many as 30-40% of Christian radio listeners have not yet made a decision to follow Jesus.

Do you really need my financial support?

Yes! We rely on the generosity of our listeners and Impact Partners to carry out the Lord’s work.

Do you need my financial support if I gave last year?

Yes. Our budget is annual, not eternal. However, on-going Monthly Electronic Giving (until further notice) helps the ministry keep administrative costs down to better serve you and our community.

What if I cannot afford to support the radio ministry financially?

We understand that situations change from time to time. We would, however, encourage you to find a level of support that works for your family’s budget. Some listeners choose to match their entertainment – such as restaurants, or coffee shops – with an equal contribution to the radio ministry.

What if I am supporting another ministry?

It is a blessing to know that you are supporting another faith-based ministry. It is our prayer that you would support Lighthouse Radio Network stations as well, to reach the lost and strengthen the Body of Christ with the message of hope and encouragement.
